The Barrop 1600 DD is part of the latest version, the V5.
This version is fully detachable, with a removable left side to make it easier and quicker to change the brush wherever and whenever.
Another key feature of the 1600 DD is its ability to move to the left to achieve a better sweep in corners, which prevents the tyre from rubbing against surfaces and guarantees a longer lifespan.

Detachable
Thanks to this new invention, the brush rings can be changed in the half the time and with half the effort. This huge advantage of not having to go to the workshop to change the brush and being able to do so wherever you’re working gives the new V5 range a better performance than previous versions.

Portable
After sixteen years manufacturing the Barrop for our own use and with forty years’ experience in the public works industry, we’re fully aware of the difficulty experienced by sweepers when it comes to sweeping Jersey barriers, kerbs, milling machine steps, etc. That’s why we developed a way of moving the sweeper to the left, which prevents the tyres from rubbing against surfaces and enhances the quality of the sweep.
